With more than 20 years of experience serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and private estates, Cassford Management offers a highly personalized, discreet, and strategic approach to recruitment.
Unlike high-volume staffing agencies, we prioritize quality over quantity, typically presenting just 3–5 carefully selected candidates whose qualifications, experience, and professional attributes align with your specific needs.
Our clients benefit from direct, hands-on guidance throughout the recruitment process, access to an extensive nationwide and international candidate network, comprehensive screening, and a 90-day replacement guarantee.
We understand that successful placement goes beyond qualifications. It requires discretion, trust, compatibility, and a clear understanding of the unique expectations of private households, estates, and family offices.
At Cassford Management, we focus on building lasting professional relationships and delivering thoughtful staffing solutions tailored to each client—not simply filling a position.

Cassford Management provides a personalized, streamlined hiring experience designed to save you time and identify qualified candidates who meet your household or estate staffing needs.
Application & Consultation: We review your staffing requirements, preferences, and expectations to understand the position and your household's unique needs.
Candidate Search & Selection: We conduct a nationwide search, carefully evaluating qualifications, experience, and suitability. Typically, we present 3–5 highly qualified candidates, rather than overwhelming you with unsuitable applicants.
Candidate Review & Interviews: We provide candidate profiles and coordinate interviews by Zoom, FaceTime, telephone, or in person, according to your preference.
Screening & Background Checks: Before placement, we coordinate comprehensive background screening, including nationwide criminal records and driving history checks. Credit checks may be arranged for financially sensitive positions, where appropriate and legally permissible.
Paid Trial & Hiring: We recommend an optional 1–3 day paid trial to evaluate compatibility before making a final hiring decision. Trial compensation is paid by the client at the agreed-upon rate.
Our Goal: To make the hiring process efficient, discreet, and personalized while helping you secure the right professional for your home or estate.

Cassford Management follows a comprehensive screening process designed to provide clients with confidence when hiring professionals for their private residences, estates, and family offices.
Candidates are evaluated based on their professional experience, qualifications, employment history, and suitability for the position. Once a client selects a candidate for hire, final background screening is conducted to ensure the most current information is available.
Our screening process may include nationwide criminal background checks, driving record reviews, and credit checks for financially sensitive positions, where appropriate and legally permissible.
Professional references are verified with the candidate's consent. Cassford Management provides clients with a summary of verified references and discloses any concerns regarding their authenticity or reliability.
Most background screening results are available within 5–7 business days, although timelines may vary depending on the scope and jurisdiction.
Our priority is to provide a thorough, discreet, and transparent screening process that supports informed hiring decisions and long-term compatibility.

What is your placement fee?
Cassford Management charges a one-time placement fee equal to 20% of the candidate's gross annual compensation, payable upon commitment to hire. There are no recurring agency fees.
Is there an application fee or retainer to engage your recruitment services?
No. Cassford Management does not charge an application fee or upfront retainer to begin the recruitment process. Our placement fee is due only when you commit to hiring a candidate.
What is your replacement guarantee?
Cassford Management offers a 90-day replacement guarantee, beginning on the candidate's official start date. If the placement does not work out during this period, we will conduct a search for one equivalent replacement at no additional placement fee, subject to the terms of our placement agreement.
Do you provide support after placement?
Yes. Our commitment extends beyond the hiring process. We provide ongoing telephone and email support throughout the initial onboarding period to help address questions, concerns, and transitions for both clients and newly placed professionals.
-
Am I responsible for payroll taxes and compliance?
Yes. As the employer, you are responsible for applicable payroll taxes, wage and hour requirements, and employment compliance. Cassford Management does not provide payroll processing or tax filing services. We recommend consulting your accountant or a payroll provider specializing in household employment.
What should I expect to pay a live-in professional?
Compensation varies based on the position, experience, responsibilities, location, and schedule. Live-in professionals should receive competitive compensation reflective of their qualifications and the demands of the role. Employers should also consult a qualified payroll specialist regarding applicable wage and hour laws, overtime, accommodations, and travel requirements.
What should I expect to pay a live-out professional?
Private service professionals are compensated according to their expertise, experience, responsibilities, flexibility, and discretion. Cassford Management can provide guidance on competitive salary ranges and compensation packages tailored to your staffing needs.
Who pays the employee's salary?
The employer pays the employee directly, based on the compensation agreed upon at the time of hire. For first-time household employers, Cassford Management can provide guidance on establishing payroll arrangements and identifying appropriate payroll resources.
What benefits should I offer to attract and retain qualified professionals?
We recommend offering a competitive compensation package that reflects the position and expectations. Depending on the role, benefits may include:
Health insurance or a health benefit contribution
Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays
Retirement benefits, such as a 401(k) plan
Annual performance reviews and salary adjustments
Discretionary year-end or performance-based bonuses
Relocation assistance, when applicable
A thoughtful, competitive benefits package can be a significant differentiator in attracting and retaining experienced private service professionals.
Cassford Management can assist clients in developing compensation packages that align with their staffing requirements and long-term employment goals.
